Be a venue for our buskers!

A person who performs music or other entertainment in the street or another public place for monetary donations.

Buskathon is three days of buskers throughout the city. People will vote for their favorite busker, and the top buskers will contend in Busk Off at Director Park on Sunday, April 13th, the fourth and final day of this event.  

No! While we would be happy to have you either sponsor the whole event or just 'sponsor a busker' at $100 per busker, there is not a cost for being a venue.  (If you are interested in sponsoring let us know!)

• Your business needs to be open while the busker is performing 

• Any building owner permissions needed will need to be handled by you! (we don't want a situation where the building owner is not in favor of this, even if the retailer is). 

• You need to help promote the program and when buskers will be at your site and encourage people to come to check it our and to vote for their favorites.

• We are also asking businesses to allow the buskers to use staff bathrooms (should there be a need).   

• We will be providing a sign for the buskers indicating that they are part of the buskathon, the voting platform, as well as marketing, and promotional posters!

We are scheduling buskers for one-hour segments.  

We are planning on scheduling each busker several times over the four-day event.  You likely will have between 3-6 performances at your location daily.
